Description
Old Ballantruan Whisky 15 Years Old The Peated Malt Single Malt Scotch Whisky 50% vol. 0.7 l in a gift box online kaufen
The Old Ballantruan 15 Years Old comes from the renowned Tomintoul Distillery, which is picturesquely situated on the Glenlivet Estate in Scotland’s Speyside region. This distillery is characterised by its deep commitment to traditional whisky-making methods and skilfully combines the use of classic copper stills with state-of-the-art distillation technologies.
As a peated malt whisky, the Old Ballantruan 15 Years Old is made from barley that has been dried using peat smoke. Peat, a historically significant fuel in Scotland, imparts phenolic compounds to the barley during the drying process. These compounds are responsible for the whisky’s characteristic smoky and earthy flavour. The Old Ballantruan Whisky’s maturation for over 15 years in selected oak casks further contributes to the development of its complex aroma.
Furthermore, this whisky is bottled without chill filtration, which preserves its flavour intensity and authenticity.
