The idea for Dead Man’s Fingers rum was conceived at the legendary Rum & Crab Shack in Cornwall, a seafood restaurant renowned for its creative dishes and unique atmosphere. One of the restaurant’s most popular dishes is crab, whose finger-like gills are affectionately referred to by connoisseurs as ‘the dead man’s fingers’ – hence the rum’s distinctive name.
Dead Man's Fingers Spiced Rum is based on classic molasses rum from the Caribbean. This is refined using traditional production methods with a careful selection of spices and ingredients to give the rum its distinctive flavour.
