Description
Description
Ron Esclavo is a premium rum brand renowned for its high-quality, handcrafted spirits. The brand was founded by the Danish entrepreneur and rum enthusiast Henrik Kristofferson, who fell in love with the Dominican Republic and its rum traditions. The name Ron Esclavo means ‘slave rum’ in Spanish and evokes the historical link between rum production and the history of slavery in the Caribbean. The brand aims to honour and pay tribute to the legacy of those who worked in the rum industry during that era. Ron Esclavo is dedicated to producing rums of exceptional quality, using traditional production methods and carefully selected ingredients. The finest sugar cane from the Dominican Republic and a meticulous distillation and ageing process are employed to craft these spirits.
Made from carefully selected sugar cane, Ron Esclavo XO is fermented and distilled using traditional methods. Maturation in oak casks over several years imparts flavours of vanilla, caramel and dried fruit, as well as a balanced, multi-layered structure.
