In 1987, Aurelio Montes (after whom the winery is named), Pedro Grand, Douglas Murray and Alfredo Vidaurre founded the Montes winery in Chile. The winery’s vision is to conquer the global market with high-quality wines from Chile. Today, the winery cultivates around 750 hectares of vineyards and also produces its outstanding wines in Argentina and California.

Discover the Montes Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, carefully cultivated in the vineyards of the Colchagua Valley. Through a combination of ageing in stainless steel tanks and American oak barrels, this wine develops its characteristic aromas and nuances. With an ageing potential of up to 6 years and a natural cork closure, every bottle preserves the quality and authenticity of this wine.

Tasting Note

A deep ruby red in the glass. On the nose, hints of caramel, cinnamon, rock sugar and subtle mint. On the palate, it is spicy, juicy and fruity, with aromas of American oak and firm tannins. A long-lasting and powerful finish.

Serving temperature: 15–18 °C.

Pairs superbly with dark dishes as well as spicy and savoury dishes.
