Puni ARTE N° 5 The Italian Malt Whisky is a limited-edition release from the Italian Puni Distillery, which was the first whisky distillery in Italy to gain international recognition. The distillery is situated in Glurns in the Vinschgau Valley and combines traditional Scottish distilling techniques with innovative maturation methods to create exceptional whiskies with a distinctive character.

This edition was matured for over 6 years in ex-Islay whisky casks that previously contained heavily peated Scotch. Although the whisky itself was produced from unpeated malt, the cask maturation has imparted subtle smoky and peaty notes that blend harmoniously into the overall profile.

With a strictly limited run of 2,830 bottles, this single malt is a rarity and a highly sought-after collector’s item. Like all Puni whiskies, this edition has not been chill-filtered and has been bottled without colouring agents to preserve its natural purity and authenticity.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Ripe fruit, vanilla, honey, floral notes, oak.

Palate: Full-bodied, caramel, dried fruit, subtle woody notes.

Finish: Long-lasting.
