Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber.

Nose: Ripe dried fruit, sweet heather honey, cloves, subtle smoke and a hint of leather.

Palate: Full-bodied, complex and smooth, with flavours of sherry, dark chocolate, orange, toasted oak and a subtle hint of peat.

Finish: Lang, warm and spicy with a slight maritime freshness and lingering smoke.

Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to allow its complex structure to unfold fully. This single malt pairs superbly with fine dishes such as game, lamb, mushroom risotto or mature cheeses.
