Jameson TRIPLE TRIPLE Marsala Cask Irish Whiskey is a special limited edition within the Jameson Triple Triple range, combining Irish whiskey tradition with the influence of Sicilian Marsala casks. As is characteristic of Jameson Whiskey, the whisky is triple-distilled before a combination of three different cask types is used for this bottling. Alongside classic bourbon casks and sherry casks, carefully selected and limited-availability Marsala casks from Sicily are used. This additional cask component enriches the familiar smooth Jameson Whiskey style with intense fruity, spicy and nutty notes. The concept follows the so-called ‘Triple Triple World Tour’, in which Jameson reinterprets its triple-distilled Irish Whiskey using different international cask types.


With an alcohol content of 40 per cent and a generous 1-litre bottle, the Jameson Triple Triple Marsala Cask Limited Release presents itself as a distinct variant of the well-known Jameson Whiskey. Crucial to its character is the interplay of the three cask types: bourbon casks contribute vanilla and caramel notes, whilst sherry casks – and in particular the hand-selected Marsala wine casks – add extra fruit, spice and a nutty depth. Jameson Whiskey’s signature triple distillation remains an essential part of the production process. The combination of ‘Triple Distilled’ and ‘Triple Cask’ thus forms the central feature of this limited edition, making it particularly appealing to Jameson Whiskey enthusiasts and collectors of special Irish whiskies with a wine cask influence.

Tasting Note

Colour: Warm gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Dried apricot, banana and kiwi, accompanied by forest spices, walnuts, sweet vanilla and caramelised brown sugar.

Palate: Rich and full-bodied, with toffee-coated apple, vanilla and chocolate-coated walnuts, complemented by exotic fruits, a subtle hint of ginger and gentle oak tannins.

Finish: Long-lasting and balanced, with the fruit and oak slowly fading away whilst a pleasantly gentle spicy note lingers right to the end.

Jameson Triple Triple Marsala Cask is best enjoyed neat at around 18–20 °C, on the rocks or with a few drops of still water. Culinary pairings include roasted walnuts, dark chocolate, apple desserts or mature cheeses, which complement the nutty and fruity cask notes. For a simple long drink, it can be combined with soda water and a twist of orange zest. Thanks to the combination of bourbon, sherry and Marsala casks, this limited release is also ideal for a comparative tasting of various Jameson bottlings.
