Don Papa Alon 40% ABV 0.7 l is a unique, limited-edition spiced rum from the Philippine island of Negros – the country’s centre for sugarcane production. Distilled from 100 per cent sugarcane molasses, this rum is enhanced with aromas of toasted coconut, jackfruit and warming spices – precisely the ingredients that make up Ginataang Langka, a traditional tropical speciality of the region. The result is a creamy, rich and intensely spiced rum, infused with harmonious citrus freshness.

The name ‘Alon’ means ‘wave’ in Tagalog – a symbol that reflects the dynamic coastal landscape of the Philippines and embodies the vibrancy and warmth of the tropical climate in this rum.

Alon’s amber colour develops during maturation in carefully selected casks, lending it depth and elegance. With an alcohol content of 40% vol., it offers a perfect balance of exotic sweetness, floral spice and fruity freshness.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bright amber with golden highlights.

Nose: Toasted coconut, sweet jackfruit, vanilla, warm spices and a hint of citrus.

Palate: Creamy and full-bodied with tropical fruits, coconut, honey, hints of nutmeg, cinnamon and a touch of orange zest.

Finish: Long, spicy and slightly fruity with lingering warmth.

Best enjoyed neat at room temperature or with a large ice cube to appreciate the full range of flavours.
