Der Eichenwald DIE ZEITREISE Cuvée 2021 is a fascinating red wine from Burgenland that brings together the past and the present in a single glass. Ageing takes place partly in large wooden casks and partly in used barriques, giving the wine complexity and gentle maturity without the fruit being overshadowed. This careful vinification preserves the cuvée’s individual character and allows the individual grape varieties to blend harmoniously. The result is a wine with a clear structure, a supple texture and an elegant, multi-layered bouquet. In the magnum bottle (1.5 l), DIE ZEITREISE is a true collector’s item – ideal for special moments and festive occasions. Tasting Note

The Eichenwald DIE ZEITREISE Cuvée 2021 displays a dark core with violet highlights in the glass. On the nose, it reveals rich, aromatic fruit notes of plum, blackberries and a hint of persimmon, underpinned by subtle spicy notes. On the palate, the cuvée offers dark fruit, elegant tannins and a delicate backbone of acidity that lends the wine vibrancy and structure. The balance between fruit and spice is masterful – the wine is dense, precise and has a long-lasting finish. A red wine with depth, character and impressive harmony.
