Tasting Note

In the glass, it displays a dark ruby-garnet colour with violet highlights and a delicate lightening at the rim. On the nose, blackberries, wild berries, vanilla, a hint of nougat, candied orange zest, cocoa nuances and subtle notes of cassis come to the fore. On the palate, the wine is juicy, firm and harmonious, accompanied by well-integrated tannins and a delicately spicy structure. The finish is red-berried, clean and long-lasting, underpinned by spicy and fruity depth.

The Vulcano Cuvée 2021 pairs superbly with steaks, game dishes, braised beef, rack of lamb, spicy mushroom dishes or Mediterranean fare featuring herbs and roasted flavours. It also pairs beautifully with mature hard cheeses or hearty ragouts. The ideal serving temperature is 18 °C.
