Nine-time Falstaff winner, including the Blaufränkisch Biiri. The Vulcano was named Austria’s best red wine at the International Wine Challenge.

The labels, designed by the Austrian artist Anton Lehmden, give the wines a distinctive visual identity that blends art and wine.

The wines are produced using natural viticulture methods, including selective hand-picking, low yields and gentle processing. They are aged in around 700 barrique barrels at the historic Schaflerhof, the heart of the estate.

The winery practises integrated, nature-friendly viticulture, using green manure and mechanical soil cultivation to promote biodiversity and protect the environment.

With around 40 hectares of vineyards in the finest sites of the Blaufränkisch region, such as Ried Hochberg and Ried Biiri, the winery benefits from sandy loam and gravel soils as well as the Pannonian climate. These conditions lend the wines depth and structure.

• Vulcano: A blend of Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt and Merlot, aged in barriques, and winner of numerous awards.
• Ab Ericio: Premium cuvée aged for 21 months in barriques, a tribute to Hans Igler.
• Blaufränkisch Biiri: Single-vineyard wine with 96 Falstaff points, multiple Falstaff winner.
• Cabernet Sauvignon Ried Kart: Single-varietal Cabernet with 94 Falstaff points.
• Ricciolino: A fruit-forward cuvée with a youthful character.
