Tequila Ocho Plata La Mesa Single Estate 40% vol., 0.5 l, comes from one of Mexico’s most renowned tequila ranges, known for its consistent transparency, traditional production methods and strong emphasis on the respective terroir. Every bottle of Tequila Ocho comes from a single estate, with only agaves from a specific field being used in production. The La Mesa edition is characterised by agaves grown on a selected highland field in Jalisco, where the maturity, soil composition and climatic conditions significantly shape the character of the distillate.

This Plata is produced using the classic method: the fully matured Blue Weber agaves are gently cooked in a stone oven, then traditionally ground and slowly fermented before distillation takes place in copper pot stills. The result is an authentic, clear agave tequila that distinctly reflects both the plant and the terroir. La Mesa Plata is fresh, mineral and unadorned, with a structure that impressively highlights the quality of the agaves. The smaller 0.5-litre bottle size also makes this single-estate edition an ideal choice for tastings or for connoisseurs who wish to compare different fields.
