Cinzano Vermouth Rosso 15% ABV 0.75 l is regarded as one of Italy’s most time-honoured vermouths and is an indispensable classic in bars worldwide. It originates from Turin and is based on a historic recipe that has been preserved by Casa Cinzano since 1757. By founding their company in Pecetto, near Turin, the brothers Carlo Stefano and Giovanni Giacomo Cinzano laid the foundations for an international success story that continues to define Rosso Vermouth to this day. It is produced using traditional methods from selected wines, which are enriched with a complex blend of herbs, spices and carefully composed botanicals. The recipe, the exact composition of which is kept secret, gives Cinzano Rosso its characteristic aromatic depth. As the first vermouth in the house’s range, it marked the beginning of Cinzano’s modern vermouth tradition and, over the generations, has become the iconic flagship of Italian aperitif culture.

Tasting Note

Deep reddish-brown in the glass. On the nose, vanilla, black cherries, delicate spicy notes and a hint of caramel. On the palate, it is round and smooth with a subtle sweetness, followed by a complex blend of numerous spices and bitter nuances. The finish is aromatic, balanced and long-lasting.

This Cinzano Vermouth Rosso is ideal as a base for classic cocktails and long drinks, particularly the Negroni, Manhattan, Americano or Rosso Spritz.
