Bellamy’s Reserve Rum OLOROSO CASK FINISH is a carefully crafted release from the independent bottler Bellamy’s Reserve, combining the distinctive styles of two renowned rum regions. This blend from Barbados and Jamaica is based on classic molasses rum, distilled in both pot stills and column stills. The rum underwent five years of tropical maturation in ex-bourbon casks, which built up its structure, depth and balance. It was then finished for 12 to 18 months in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, a process specifically designed to round out and refine the flavour.


With a total age of six years, an alcohol content of 43% vol. and no added sugar, this rum is transparent, honest and clearly defined. The Oloroso finish lends the blend additional complexity and an elegant, fruity sherry sweetness, without masking the distinctive character of the Caribbean rum styles. Bellamy’s Reserve Rum embodies a purist approach, where cask work and the distillate take centre stage.
