Dictador 12 Years Old ICON RESERVE Colombian Rum embodies the fusion of Colombian rum tradition, modern elegance and meticulous ageing. This rum is produced from sugarcane honey, a concentrated sugarcane juice that lends the distillate its characteristic depth and mellow sweetness. Distillation takes place partly in a column still and partly in a pot still, resulting in an optimal combination of structure, aroma and balance. The rum is then matured for 12 years in selected oak casks, which gives it its harmonious balance of sweetness, spice and woody notes. Bottled at 40% ABV, this release is approachable yet complex.

Finish: Medium to long-lasting, rounded and pleasantly sweet and spicy.

The Dictador 12 Years Old is excellent enjoyed neat or on the rocks, where its creamy texture and caramel notes come into their own.
