The Campillo Crianza Rioja DOC 2022 is a Spanish quality red wine full of character that combines the classic Rioja style with modern precision. Produced by Bodegas Campillo, this Crianza comes from Rioja Alavesa, one of the most renowned sub-regions of the Rioja DOC. The Campillo Crianza is vinified dry and predominantly from Tempranillo, supplemented by small proportions of traditional grape varieties depending on the vintage. The wine is matured in the classic way in wooden barrels, harmoniously combining fruit, flavour and tannin. With an alcohol content of 14.5%, the 2022 vintage is powerful, balanced and elegant at the same time. Tasting Note

The colour in the glass is an intense ruby red with garnet reflections. The nose has aromas of ripe cherries and red berries, accompanied by fine notes of vanilla and spices from the wooden barrel. Juicy and full-bodied on the palate with ripe fruit, well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is harmonious, spicy and pleasantly long-lasting.

The Campillo Crianza Rioja DOC 2022 is a versatile accompaniment to beef, lamb, grilled meat, tapas or savoury stews. This dry Rioja red wine also unfolds its balance and depth with mature cheese. At a serving temperature of around 16 to 18 °C, it reveals its classic structure, fruit and elegant crianza character in a particularly convincing way.
