The Winkler-Hermaden Rosé Steiermark 2025 11.4% Vol. 0.75 l is an elegant and particularly fresh rosé wine from Styria that reflects the characteristic lightness and precision of the Winkler-Hermaden winery. The grapes come from various vineyards around Kapfenstein in the volcanic region of Styria, where mineral soils and a distinctive climate create ideal conditions for aromatic and lively Austrian rosé wines.


The cuvée consists of 80 % St. Laurent and 20 % Pinot Noir. The grapes are gently pressed immediately after harvesting, extracting only minimal colouring from the berry skins and giving the wine its typical pale pink colour. The wine is matured dry in stainless steel tanks, which preserves the freshness and fruit particularly clearly. The grapes were harvested on 1 and 4 September 2025 and the wine was bottled on 9 March 2026. The rosé is produced organically and regeneratively and is vegan. At 11.4% vol., this Styrian rosé wine is light, juicy and particularly lively. The ideal drinking age is between 2026 and 2031.

Tasting Note

The Winkler-Hermaden Rosé 2025 is a light, delicate pink colour in the glass. The nose reveals aromas of red berries accompanied by a hint of white pepper. On the palate, the wine is slightly fresh and juicy with lively acidity and clear fruit. The finish is animatingly elegant and pleasantly long-lasting.

The Winkler-Hermaden Rosé from Kapfenstein is an ideal summer wine and a versatile accompaniment to fish dishes, grilled vegetables, fresh salads, light starters or Mediterranean dishes. This Austrian rosé also unfolds its refreshing lightness particularly well as an aperitif or with summer cuisine on the terrace, balcony or in the garden. Served at 10-12 °C, it goes perfectly with relaxed evenings, sunsets and socialising in the open air.
