Nardini Grappa EXTRAFINA is a classic white grappa from Italy, based on more than two centuries of expertise in the art of distillation by the long-established Bortolo Nardini distillery. For the Extrafina, the master distillers select particularly smooth and aromatic grappas from pomace sourced from various vineyards and blend them to create a carefully balanced blend. In the production process, Nardini combines different distillation methods: both a batch vacuum distillation process and a continuous column distillation are used. This combination of different grappas and production methods forms the basis for the elegant and balanced character of the bottling.


In contrast to a cask-aged Riserva, the Nardini Grappa Extrafina focuses on the clear, unadulterated character of white grappa. The careful selection of particularly fragrant distillates ensures a complex profile characterised above all by floral and fruity nuances. At 42% ABV in the 0.7-litre bottle, the Extrafina is smooth, rounded and, at the same time, expressive. The combination of traditional Italian grappa production, selected pomace from various vineyards and two different distillation methods makes it a versatile addition to the Nardini range and an interesting choice for lovers of clear, non-cask-aged grappas.

Nardini Grappa EXTRAFINA is ideal as a digestif after a meal and can be served neat in a suitable grappa glass. Its floral and fruity notes pair well with almond biscuits, light pastries, fresh fruit or mild peach-based desserts. Traditionally, the grappa also pairs superbly with a strong espresso or can be used to make an Italian caffè corretto. For social occasions or as the finishing touch to an Italian meal, the clear Extrafina offers a classic alternative to barrel-aged grappas.
