Galliano L'Autentico 42.3% vol. 0.7 l is an Italian cult liqueur that has been known for its unmistakable recipe and striking bottle design since its launch in Livorno in 1896. With its tall, slim bottle and bright golden yellow colour, Galliano has been a real eye-catcher in bars and home bars around the world for decades.


The recipe is based on a complex blend of over 30 herbs, plants and spices, including star anise, juniper, yam, cinnamon, Ingwerer, vanilla and Mediterranean herbs. This diversity gives Galliano L'Autentico its characteristic aromatic depth with a balance of sweetness, spice and fine herbal freshness. Particularly noteworthy is the distinct vanilla note which, together with the herbs, creates a harmonious flavour profile. With an alcohol content of 42.3% by volume, Galliano is stronger than many other liqueurs and is suitable both for pure enjoyment and as a versatile cocktail ingredient.


It became particularly well known in the 1970s thanks to drinks such as the Harvey Wallbanger, where Galliano brings its unmistakable herbal-vanilla flavour into play. To this day, it is considered a classic of international bar culture.

Galliano L'Autentico is suitable both neat or on ice as a digestif, but reveals its true strength in cocktails. Classics include the Harvey Wallbanger (with vodka and orange juice) or the Golden Cadillac (with crème de cacao and cream). It also adds exciting flavours in combination with espresso or desserts such as tiramisu or vanilla ice cream.
