Corralejo Tequila Añejo 100% de Agave 38% Vol. 0.7 l is a fine tequila from Mexico that is characterised by its long maturation and high quality. Made from 100% blue agave, this añejo tequila impresses with its full flavour and smooth texture. After distillation, the tequila is matured for at least 12 months in French Limousin oak barrels, which gives it its characteristic, velvety flavour. This long maturation brings out complex notes of wood, vanilla and spices, making the tequila an ideal drink for discerning connoisseurs.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with amber reflections.

Nose: Aromas of oak, vanilla, honey, caramel, a hint of cinnamon and some dark chocolate.

Flavour: Full-bodied, smooth and complex, with notes of ripe agave, toasted wood, fine vanilla, caramel and a slight peppery note.

Finish: Langs and warm, with a gentle sweetness and a mild woody note that lingers pleasantly.

Corralejo Tequila Añejo is an excellent accompaniment to dark chocolate, spicy dishes or a selection of mature cheeses such as Manchego or Pecorino. It is also perfect as a base for cocktails such as a "Tequila Old Fashioned" or a "Tequila Sour" with fresh lemon juice and sugar syrup.
