Ron Santiago de Cuba Extra Añejo 20 Años is an exclusive 20-year-old Cuban rum with an alcohol content of 40 per cent, presented in a 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box. For this special bottling, only a small selection of carefully chosen casks from one of Cuba’s oldest warehouses is used. The rum spends at least two decades alongside some of the house’s oldest reserves, with the ageing of the aguardiente in white oak casks playing a central role. Production adheres to the strict Cuban regulations for rum and follows the tradition of the Maestros del Ron Cubano, passed down through generations.


Ron Santiago de Cuba 20 Años was created as a tribute to Santiago de Cuba, which is regarded as the cradle of Cuban light rum. This edition celebrates the city’s 485th anniversary and links its history and cultural identity with the time-honoured tradition of Cuban rum production. Tasting Note

Colour: Rich amber.

Nose: Complex and fruit-driven, with ripe fruit aromas, subtle oak and elegant, long-aged notes.

Palate: Robust yet supple, with a harmonious balance between sweet and dry notes, accompanied by coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate and well-integrated oak.

Finish: Long-lasting, elegant and slightly dry, with dark cocoa, coffee and a subtle, lingering hint of oak.

The Ron Santiago de Cuba Extra Añejo 20 Años is best served neat at room temperature in a nosing or tulip glass, allowing the character of its long ageing to unfold fully. Culinary pairings include mature hard cheeses, roasted almonds or walnuts, as well as hearty dishes featuring beef or slow-braised meat. Dark chocolate, coffee-based desserts, chocolate tart or desserts with roasted nuts are particularly well-suited, as they complement the cocoa and coffee notes. Due to its long ageing process and special selection of casks, this bottling is particularly recommended as a digestif, for high-quality rum tastings or special occasions.
