Tasting Note

Colour: Deep mahogany brown.

Nose: Spicy herbs, oranges, liquorice, fine vanilla notes.

Flavour: Soft, balanced, sweet and bitter, notes of orange peel, cinnamon, star anise, herbs and fine caramel sweetness.

Finish: Langs, pleasantly bitter, slightly sweet with lingering herbal and citrus notes.

Ramazzotti Amaro is traditionally served neat or on ice as a digestif after a rich meal. It is also ideal as a long drink with tonic or ginger ale, which brings out its fruity and spicy notes. The Ramazzotti Rosso Tonic is a particular favourite, where the amaro is served with tonic water, a slice of orange and ice.

This Italian herbal liqueur can also be used in a variety of ways in the kitchen - whether to refine desserts, in coffee creations or as an aromatic component in sauces and cocktails.
