Carlos III from Jerez is a high-quality brandy made from a carefully selected blend of Spanish brandies matured using the traditional Solera method. This method, which is particularly appreciated in the Jerez region, uses American oak barrels, which give the brandies their characteristic flavour.

While the exact ageing period of the individual components of the cuvée is not explicitly stated, many sources speak of a minimum ageing period of three years, although six years is also considered. Nevertheless, the age of the brandy components is not at the centre of the assessment, as it is rather the unmistakable character created by the long maturation and the wooden barrels that determines the quality of this brandy.
