The Poli Poli Elisir Prugna Liquore 40% vol. 0.7 l is a fine plum liqueur from Italy, produced by the traditional Distilleria Poli in Schiavon, Veneto. The family business was founded in 1898 and is one of the most renowned distilleries in Italy, known for its high-quality grappas and liqueur specialities. With Elisir Prugna, Poli presents a liqueur that combines the sweet fruitiness of ripe plums with the typical elegance of the brand.


It is made from carefully selected plums, whose flavours are captured through gentle processing. The liqueur is refined with grappa from our own production, which gives it depth, structure and a fine flavour. With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, Poli Elisir Prugna is stronger than many other fruit liqueurs, but remains round, fruity and harmonious. The traditional bottle shape with clear lines emphasises its classic character and makes it an elegant companion for special moments of enjoyment.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep, dark amber with violet reflections.

Nose: Intensely fruity, characterised by ripe plums, accompanied by fine spice and a hint of wood.

Flavour: Full-bodied and smooth, with sweet and slightly tart plum notes, a fine nuttiness and an elegant grappa base.

Finish: Langs, fruity and spicy with a warm depth.

Poli Elisir Prugna is ideal for drinking neat at room temperature or slightly chilled. It goes perfectly with desserts such as chocolate cake, fruit tart or vanilla ice cream, where it unfolds its fruity intensity. It can also be used as a special ingredient in cocktails, for example in combination with Prosecco or in creative after-dinner drinks. In culinary terms, it also harmonises with mature cheese or nut biscuits, where its sweet and spicy note creates exciting contrasts.
