Inspired by the harmony of a poem, this series reflects the craftsmanship of Master Blender Hernan Parra, who personally selects and refines the best vintages.

This exceptional bottling was distilled in 2000 and matured in oak barrels for over 22 years before receiving a final finish in port wine barrels. This refinement gives the rum a complex and multi-layered flavour, combining the rich fruitiness of the port wine with the deep, spicy notes of the Langs maturation. The influences of the port wine provide fine notes of ripe berries, dried fruit and dark chocolate, while the long contact with the wood contributes a velvety structure and warm spicy nuances.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep mahogany with ruby reflections.

Nose: Intense with aromas of red berries, dried figs, dark caramel and spicy oak notes.

Flavour: Full-bodied, smooth and complex with notes of port wine, honey, dark chocolate, roasted almonds and vanilla.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm and complex with a perfect balance of fruity, sweet and spicy accents.

This high-quality premium rum is best enjoyed neat at room temperature in order to bring out the full flavour of the port wine refinement. It harmonises excellently with dark chocolate, mature cheese, caramelised nuts or a mild cigar.
