Description

The Tullamore D.E.W. Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey 40% Vol. 1 l is one of Ireland's best-known blends and is regarded as the original triple blend Irish whiskey. Its special style is created by the marriage of grain whiskey, malt whiskey and pot still whiskey, which together form a balanced combination of sweetness, fruitiness and fine spice. The production follows the traditional triple distillation process, which is typical of Irish whiskey and is responsible for the smooth, clearly structured texture. The combination of three grains and three whiskey styles forms the aromatic basis of this blend, which is appreciated worldwide for its gentle complexity.

Maturation takes place over several years in a selection of refill casks, bourbon casks and sherry casks, allowing depth and balance to develop. Each cask type shapes the overall profile: bourbon casks lend sweetness and vanilla notes, sherry casks bring fruity, nutty elements and traditional refill casks provide a clear basic structure. Tullamore D.E.W. thus demonstrates a harmonious combination of craftsmanship, cask diversity and classic Irish blending artistry and presents itself as a whiskey with a long-lasting, smooth and balanced finish.
