The Moët & Chandon Champagne Impérial Brut 12% vol. 0.375 l is probably the best-known champagne from Moët & Chandon and a symbol of the French way of life and the highest sparkling wine culture. The blend consists of the three classic Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Pinot Noir lends structure and elegance, Pinot Meunier provides fullness and fruitiness, while Chardonnay adds freshness and finesse. Some of the reserve wines are added to the cuvée to guarantee the typical, consistent Moët style year after year. Maturation in the bottle and careful ageing ensure its fine perlage, balance and complexity. In the practical 0.375-litre bottle, it is perfect for enjoying with friends or as an elegant aperitif.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut has a light golden yellow colour with green reflections and a very fine, long-lasting perlage. The nose reveals fruity aromas of green apple, citrus and stone fruit, accompanied by floral notes and subtle hints of brioche. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced and elegant, with a harmonious combination of lively acidity, fine minerality and a gentle creaminess. The finish is long, clear and refreshing.

Impérial Brut is a versatile champagne that is ideal as an aperitif. It goes equally well with seafood, oysters, sushi or light fish dishes.
