Description
This product was originally intended for the American market. The actual and taxed content is therefore 750ml.
The Glen Breton Rare 10 Years Old Canada's First Single Malt Whisky 43% Vol. 0.75 l + GB is a remarkable whisky from Canada that made history as the first officially recognised Canadian single malt. It is produced at the Glenora Distillery in Nova Scotia, a distillery that has been working with Scottish traditions since it was founded in the 1980s, yet has developed an unmistakably Canadian character. The distillery is located in the middle of the Cape Breton Peninsula and uses crystal-clear spring water from the surrounding Highlands, which emphasises the special purity of the whisky.
The Glen Breton Rare 10 Years Old matures for over a decade in selected American oak casks. As a result, it develops a balanced profile with vanilla and honey notes, fruity nuances and an elegant, mild character. At 43% vol., it is pleasantly accessible, yet complex enough to delight even experienced whisky lovers. It is supplied in an elegant gift box (GB), which also makes it a visual highlight.

Tasting Note
Colour: Gold with light amber reflections.
Nose: Fruity with apple, citrus, honey and a gentle hint of malt.
Flavour: Soft, harmonious and balanced with vanilla, caramel, fruit and light spice.
Finish: Medium length, mild and elegant with a fine sweetness.
The Glen Breton Rare 10 Years Old is ideal for drinking straight to experience the fine flavours in their full balance. On ice or with a few drops of water, additional facets can be opened up. In culinary terms, it goes well with mild cheeses, roasted nuts, apple desserts or light-coloured chocolate. It is also an excellent choice as a stylish accompaniment to a relaxed evening with friends or as a digestif after a light meal. Thanks to its historical significance as the first Canadian single malt, it is also an attractive collector's item and a special gift for whisky lovers.
