Le Volte dell'Ornellaia Toscana IGT 2023 is an authentic, multi-layered red wine from Tuscany that perfectly embodies the interplay of Tuscan elegance and international style. The cuvée of the 2023 vintage consists of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot - a powerful composition that combines fruit fullness, structure and depth. The wine is vinified in the classic way in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness, precision and varietal expressiveness. Barrique maturation is deliberately avoided in order to emphasise the pure character of the grape varieties and the terroir. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., a natural cork stopper and a drinking age of up to 2031, this wine offers impressive versatility and longevity.

Tasting Note

In the glass, Le Volte dell'Ornellaia 2023 has a deep ruby red colour with a purple hue. The nose seduces with aromas of ripe cherries, blackcurrants and wild berries, accompanied by fine spicy notes, cedar wood and a hint of liquorice. On the palate, the wine is soft, round and structured at the same time, with fine tannins, refreshing acidity and a balanced, long-lasting finish characterised by dark fruit and mineral clarity.

Le Volte 2023 is an ideal accompaniment to Italian cuisine and is particularly convincing with pasta with ragù, risotto with mushrooms, stuffed cannelloni, but also with braised beef, lamb chops or mature cheese. This Tuscan red wine also cuts a great figure when enjoyed on its own. Serve at 16-18 °C in a red wine glass for the perfect moment of pleasure.
