Der Regele Traminer Sulztaler Zoppelberg Eiswein 1997 ist ein außergewöhnliches und raren Süßwein-Unikat aus der renommierten Einzellage Zoppelberg in Sulztal an der südsteirischen Weinstraße. Das Weingut Regele, ansässig in Leibnitz (Südsteiermark), steht seit Jahrzehnten für qualitätsorientierten Weinbau mit tiefem Respekt vor der Natur und dem Terroir. Diese Rarität aus dem Jahr 1997 wurde unter strengsten klimatischen Bedingungen gelesen – bei mindestens –7 °C, wie es für einen echten Eiswein erforderlich ist.
Die Rebsorte Traminer, bekannt für ihre intensive Aromatik und Struktur, ist prädestiniert für edelsüße Weine. Die tief in den gefrorenen Trauben konzentrierten Zucker- und Aromastoffe ergeben nach dem langsamen Pressvorgang ein höchst extraktreiches, opulentes Mostkonzentrat. Durch die anschließende, sehr lange Gärung und behutsame Reifung entsteht ein Wein mit enormem Lagerpotenzial, vielschichtiger Aromatik und samtiger Süße. Trotz seines hohen Reifegrades bewahrt dieser Eiswein durch die feine Säurestruktur seine Frische und Eleganz. Mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 12 % Vol. ist er kraftvoll und dennoch ausgewogen.

Am Gaumen ist der Wein seidig, konzentriert und vollmundig, mit üppiger Süße, balancierter Säure und einem langen, anhaltenden, würzig-süßen Abgang, der noch lange nachklingt. Ein Eiswein von beeindruckender Tiefe und Eleganz.
