It comes from Casks No. 291 and 292 and was bottled at cask strength at 55.4% vol. - naturally not chill-filtered and without the addition of colouring agents to fully preserve its natural character.


The rum initially matured for five years under tropical conditions in ex-cognac casks before being refined for a further two years in Oloroso sherry casks. This combination of fruity, spicy maturation and sherry-accentuated finish gives the rum its exceptional depth, complexity and a fascinating balance between strength and elegance. Rum Nation Marie Galante 2017/2025 is a lively yet finely structured rum that bears the unmistakable signature of the French-Caribbean island of Guadeloupe - characterised by sugar cane, sun, sea and time.
