The maturation process takes place in selected American and European oak casks, which lend the whiskey its complexity and depth. These casks are stored in cool, dark Lager warehouses in Midleton, where they are exposed to Ireland’s unique climatic conditions. The result is a consistent, slow maturation process, which is responsible for Jameson Whiskey’s distinctive character.

• Jameson Original Irish Coffee: 50 ml Jameson, 1 tsp brown sugar, 100 ml hot coffee, fresh cream.
• Black Barrel Old Fashioned: 50 ml Jameson Black Barrel, sugar cube, Angostura bitters, ice, orange zest.
• Caskmates Stout Sour: 50 ml Caskmates Stout, 25 ml lemon juice, 20 ml sugar syrup, ice, slice of lemon.
• Gold Reserve Manhattan: 50 ml Gold Reserve, 25 ml red vermouth, Angostura bitters, ice, cocktail cherry.
• Jameson 18 Year Old Neat: 50 ml neat or with a drop of water to bring out the full flavour.

Jameson uses only natural, carefully selected ingredients in its production. The barley is grown locally, and the water comes from the nearby Dungourney spring – renowned for its purity. Distillation takes place in traditional copper stills that have been in use since the distillery was founded. The triple distillation process gives the whiskey its characteristically smooth, balanced flavour.
