Reservoir Whiskey has won numerous awards and is regarded as a prime example of regional US whisky culture. The Rye and Cognac Cask editions, in particular, are praised by critics and enthusiasts alike.

From corn bourbon and 100% rye to mild wheat whisky – every variety undergoes pot still distillation and is bottled by hand in small batches. The spirits are aged in American white oak, which harmoniously brings out sweet, spicy and nutty notes.

Reservoir deliberately sources its grain locally, uses traditional pot stills and relies on regional oak casks. The result is a whisky that brings Virginia to life in the glass – sustainable and traceable.

Reservoir proudly asks: “What does Virginia taste like?” – and provides the answer. The whiskies are distilled from local rye, wheat and maize, as well as green malt from nearby farms, and are aged in Virginia and the surrounding area.

• Reservoir Bourbon Whiskey: 100% maize – well-balanced and sweet, with notes of vanilla, toast, cherry and tobacco.
• Reservoir Rye Whiskey: 100% rye – powerful, with a spicy body, dark chocolate, pepper and a dry finish.
• Reservoir Wheat Whiskey: 100% wheat – smooth, buttery and velvety, floral, with notes of honey and orange.
• Hunter & Scott Bourbon/Rye: Blends of our own single-grain whiskies with selected Kentucky and Indiana whiskies – for cocktails and neat.
