Stibitzer Cider was born from the idea of combining the traditional apple-growing traditions of Eastern Styria with the modern art of cider-making. The region has been renowned for its high-quality apples for generations, and the family behind Stibitzer draws on this heritage to create a cider that captures the fruity freshness and natural sweetness of the apples. The name ‘Stibitzer’ is derived from the Austrian dialect and roughly translates as ‘little thief’, a nod to the temptation to keep ‘pinching’ this delicious cider time and again.

Stibitzer Cider is made from carefully selected local apples. The apples are pressed immediately after harvesting to preserve their freshness and full flavour. The resulting juice is then fermented into a finely sparkling cider, characterised by its harmonious balance of sweetness and acidity. Great importance is placed on naturalness during production: Stibitzer Cider contains no artificial additives or flavourings, making it an honest, unadulterated product. The entire production process, from apple to bottle, takes place in Styria, which guarantees the high quality and regional connection of Stibitzer Cider.

Stibitzer Cider should be served well chilled to bring out its fresh, fruity character to the full. It is ideal as an aperitif, but can also be served with light dishes such as salads, grilled fish or poultry.
