The Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is one of the best-known and most appreciated cask strength bottlings in Scotland. It comes from the traditional Glenfarclas Distillery in Ballindalloch, Speyside, which has been in the Grant family since 1836. This independence has allowed the distillery to focus on uncompromising quality, classic craftsmanship and characteristic sherry cask maturation for generations.


With its distinctive variety of flavours, Glenfarclas 105 is an intense, honest Highland single malt that is bottled at cask strength at a powerful 60% vol. This single malt is matured for around eight years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, which gives it its deep structure, spicy complexity and balanced, sherry-accentuated character.

Due to its natural cask strength, Glenfarclas 105 impresses with its intense depth - adding a few drops of water opens up additional layers of honey, fruit and spices.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with a slight copper sheen.

Nose: Rich and powerful with notes of oak, apples, pears, vanilla and sherry.

Flavour: Full-bodied and complex with sherry, malt, sweet oak, toffee and spicy nuances.

Finish: Langs, dry and warming with wood, spice and subtle sweetness.

The Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength reveals its full elegance neat at room temperature or slightly diluted with water.
