This exceptional blend contains rare, exquisite whiskies from distilleries that were already in existence during the monarch’s reign – including casks from the legendary Port Ellen distillery, which is now closed. The composition brings together the finest single malts and grain whiskies, which are matured in oak casks and develop an outstanding smoothness through skilful blending. The range of aromas extends from ripe fruit and sweet spices to smoky notes, reflecting the character of classic Johnnie Walker whiskies at the very highest level. Tasting Note

Colour: Deep golden amber.

Nose: Delicate notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate, sweet caramel and toasted nuts, complemented by a hint of smoke.

Palate: Full-bodied and complex, with a harmonious blend of honey, sultanas, nutmeg, cinnamon and light notes of peat and oak.

Finish: Long and warm with a lingering smoky note and subtle sweetness.

This whisky is ideal for drinking neat, to experience its complex flavours in all their depth. If you prefer it a little milder, you can add a few drops of still water to further bring out the subtle nuances. It pairs particularly well with dark chocolate, roasted nuts or mature cheese, which perfectly complement its rich body. A truly regal whisky for special moments.
