The Flying Dutchman Premium Dutch Rum No. 1 is an exceptional rum from the Netherlands, produced with the utmost craftsmanship at the renowned Zuidam Distillery. As one of the few European rums, it is fermented from 100 per cent molasses and triple-distilled in traditional copper stills. It is then matured in French and American oak casks, which give it its characteristic depth and aroma. With an alcohol content of 40 % vol. in the 0.7-litre bottle, this rum offers a wonderfully balanced combination of vanilla, tropical fruits and spicy oak.

Small-batch distillation lends the Flying Dutchman No. 1 an exceptional smoothness, whilst barrel ageing imparts complex notes of caramel, dried fruit and subtle toasted aromas. Tasting Note

Colour: A warm golden hue with amber highlights.

Nose: Fruity aromas of apricot, plum and ripe banana, accompanied by vanilla and subtle oak notes.

Palate: Smooth and harmonious with notes of honey, caramel, toasted almonds and a hint of spice from nutmeg and cloves.

Finish: Medium-length, smooth and slightly sweet with a pleasant blend of vanilla, wood and dried fruit.
