Nonino Grappa Monovitigno il Moscato, with an alcohol content of 41 per cent by volume and a volume of 0.7 litres, is a fine Italian grappa from the renowned Nonino distillery in Friuli, which has been world-famous since 1897 for its artisanal pomace spirits. ‘Monovitigno’ means that only pomace from a single grape variety is used – in this case, Moscato, an aromatic white wine grape prized for its pronounced fruitiness and floral notes.

Production takes place in small batches via batch distillation in traditionally operated steam stills. The fresh pomace is processed immediately after the harvest to preserve the aromas as effectively as possible. The result is an elegant, aromatic and fresh grappa with a delicate structure and lively aromas, reflecting the typical characteristics of the Moscato grape in its purest form.
