Tasting Note

Colour: Warm gold.

Nose: Fruity aromas of red berries, honey and delicate vanilla, accompanied by subtle oak notes.

Palate: Smooth and complex with notes of caramel, dried fruit, toasted nuts and a hint of smoke.

Finish: Long-lasting with spicy undertones, oak and a slight maltiness.

This Japanese blended malt whisky pairs superbly with dark chocolate or mild goat’s cheese. It is also the perfect accompaniment to Japanese dishes such as grilled yakitori or sushi with smoked fish. For a modern twist, it can be used as the base for a whisky highball with Sodawasser and lemon zest to bring out its fruity and malty notes.
