Fassbind’s Les Vieilles Barriques Vieille Framboise, 40% vol., 0.7 l, is an excellent raspberry brandy matured in oak casks, macerated and distilled according to an old family recipe. Produced at the long-established Swiss distillery Fassbind, this fine brandy epitomises the finest craftsmanship and the highest quality.

Production begins with the maceration of aromatic, fully ripe raspberries, which are then gently distilled. This is followed by one year’s maturation in oak casks, giving the spirit a harmonious balance between fruitiness and subtle woody notes. The result is a unique raspberry brandy whose aroma and flavour are reminiscent of homemade raspberry jam – a sweet, intense fruity note that is also reflected in its wonderfully mild and smooth finish.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber with slightly reddish highlights.
