The Navy Island Rum takes its name from Navy Island, a small tropical island off the coast of Port Antonio, which has close ties to the British Navy and a long seafaring tradition. Navy Island Jamaica XO Reserve is a blend of various pot still and column still rums distilled in Jamaica. This premium blend is matured in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak, allowing the intense fruit, spice and wood notes to develop to perfection.

Tasting Note

Colour: Brilliant gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Intense aromas of ripe bananas, exotic fruits, vanilla and a hint of toffee, accompanied by subtle spicy notes.

Palate: Full-bodied, rich and well-balanced with notes of caramel, candied orange, nutmeg and a subtle hint of oak from barrel ageing.

Finish: Long and pleasantly warm, with a harmonious combination of tropical sweetness and spicy depth.

Navy Island Jamaica XO Reserve is perfect for drinking neat, to fully appreciate its powerful, fruity and spicy aromas. It pairs superbly with dark chocolate, grilled pineapple or a strong espresso.
