Casamigos Tequila Añejo is a noble and perfectly matured spirit made from 100% blue Weber agave. The people behind the Casamigos brand include George Clooney and Rande Gerber, who have created a new dimension of tequila enjoyment with their demand for the highest quality and smooth flavour. This Añejo matures for at least 14 months in former American oak whiskey barrels, which gives it its deep, complex flavour and exceptional smoothness.

Thanks to slow fermentation and particularly gentle distillation, the result is a tequila with an intense but harmonious flavour profile. The sweet notes of agave are complemented by warm vanilla, caramel and oak flavours, giving it a refined complexity. With its smooth mouthfeel and long, pleasant finish, Casamigos Añejo is a tequila that impresses both on its own and in high-quality cocktails.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber with bright reflections.

Nose: Aromas of roasted agave, vanilla, caramel and fine spices.

Flavour: Soft and harmonious with notes of sweet agave, dark chocolate, oak and a hint of cinnamon.

Finish: Langs, smooth and slightly spicy with sweet, woody nuances.

Casamigos Tequila Añejo is a pleasure in itself and should ideally be enjoyed neat or on ice to fully appreciate its complex flavours. It harmonises perfectly with dark chocolate or caramelised nuts, but can also be an exciting alternative to whiskey in sophisticated tequila cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. It also goes perfectly with grilled meat or spicy Mexican dishes, which complement its fine vanilla and oak flavours perfectly.
