The Royal Oporto 10 Years Old Tawny Port 20% ABV 0.75 l + GB is an elegant aged Tawny Port from Portugal, which develops a complex and harmonious bouquet thanks to its long cask ageing. Produced by the long-established Real Companhia Velha, this port from the Douro Valley is one of the classic examples of a 10-year-old Tawny Port. The high-quality gift box emphasises the exclusive character of this matured port from Portugal, making it an ideal present for lovers of fine dessert wines.


The grapes come from selected vineyards in the renowned Douro region, where they ripen under optimal climatic conditions. The grapes are hand-harvested in several stages to ensure only perfectly ripened grapes are selected. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented traditionally in stone vats. The wine is then aged for at least ten years in old oak casks, during which time it develops its characteristic tawny colour and complex aromas of nuts, dried fruit and subtle woody notes. With an alcohol content of 20 % vol., this 10-year-old Tawny Port is particularly round, smooth and complex.

Tasting Note

In the glass, it displays a warm, golden-brown colour with amber highlights, On the nose, a complex bouquet unfolds, featuring dried fruit, nuts and a subtle hint of honey; on the palate, the port is velvety and full-bodied, with elegant sweetness and nuances of caramel and toasted oak; The finish is smooth, rounded and long-lasting.
