Produced by the renowned Mars Shinshu Distillery, known as one of Japan’s highest-altitude distilleries, this whisky benefits from pure spring water from the Japanese Alps and the region’s unique microclimate. The blend of the finest malt and grain whiskies ensures a balanced and smooth texture, whilst maturation in various casks lends it a fascinating depth.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold with shimmering highlights.

Nose: Fresh notes of ripe apples and pears, complemented by floral accents and a hint of vanilla.

Palate: Smooth and well-balanced with a pleasant fruity sweetness, delicate spicy notes of cinnamon and ginger, and a hint of smokiness.

Finish: Medium-length, smooth and elegant, with a lingering balance of sweetness and spicy warmth.

Mars KASEI Blended Whisky is ideal for enjoying neat, particularly with a dash of water or on the rocks, to bring out its delicate flavours even better. It also reveals its complex flavour profile in classic whisky cocktails such as a highball with sparkling soda or an Old Fashioned.
