Casamigos Mezcal Joven 100% Agave Espadín 40% Vol. 0.7 l - an exquisite mezcal that perfectly complements the quality and elegance of Casamigos spirits. The Casamigos brand, founded by Hollywood icon George Clooney, is synonymous with exceptional premium distillates created for socialising with friends. This mezcal is produced with the same care and passion as the brand's famous tequila range.

Casamigos Mezcal Joven is made from 100% Espadín agave, which comes from Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, the mezcal capital of Mexico. After harvesting, the agave hearts (piñas) are slowly roasted in earth pits with wood and lava stones for four to six days to develop the typical smokiness. Fermentation takes place for up to eight days with natural yeast before the distillate is distilled twice in copper stills. The mezcal is then left to rest for 30 days to harmonise its flavours. Before bottling, it is brought to a drinking strength of 40% by volume with mountain spring water.

The handmade black bottle, which is distilled in an oven at 90 °C, is particularly striking - making each individual bottle unique.

Tasting Note

Colour: Crystal clear.

Nose: Smoky espadín agave, citrus fruits, light sweetness, subtle floral and earthy notes.

Flavour: Soft, harmonious, with notes of smoked agave, sweet vanilla, subtle caramel, herbs and spicy black pepper.

Finish: Long-lasting, slightly mineral, with a fine smokiness and spicy sweetness.

Casamigos Mezcal Joven is best enjoyed neat, slightly chilled or at room temperature to fully experience its intense flavour. For an authentic Mexican mezcal experience, it can be served with orange slices and Sal de Gusano (Werder salt). It also sets special accents in high-quality cocktails such as a Smoky Margarita, Oaxacan Old Fashioned or Mezcal Negroni. In culinary terms, it harmonises perfectly with grilled meat, spicy dishes, chocolate or mature cheese, which ideally complement its sweet and smoky flavours.
