The dense forests of Norway, where sunlight only sparsely reaches the forest floor, provide the perfect backdrop for the outstanding quality of this gin. The geographical location and the special weather conditions - with two months of summer where the sun never sets and two months of complete darkness in winter - provide the optimum conditions for the botanicals to grow.

Bareksten Botanical Gin is made from a careful selection of natural and organic ingredients sourced locally. The botanicals include Nordic spices, blueberries, lingonberries, elderflower, rhubarb and mint, which give this gin a unique and versatile flavour.

With an alcohol content of 46%, this gin is strong, yet balanced and full of fresh, fruity and spicy notes that harmonise perfectly with each other.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear with a slight silver sheen.

Nose: A refreshing combination of blueberries, cranberries and mint, accompanied by a hint of Nordic spices and elderflower.

Palate: Full-bodied and complex, with fruity flavours of berries and a warm spiciness rounded off by rhubarb and mint.

Finish: Langs with a mild, cooling mint note and a delicate herbal spice that lingers on the palate.
