Ypióca Envelhecida Reserva Especial OURO is distilled from fresh sugar cane and then matured for at least two years in special Brazilian Freijó wooden barrels. This special wood gives the Brazilian cachaça its characteristic flavour with soft woody notes and elegant spiciness. The designation "Envelhecida" indicates that at least 50% of the cachaça used has been matured for at least one year in wooden barrels with a maximum capacity of 700 litres. With an alcohol content of 38%, this matured premium cachaça is pleasantly smooth, round and balanced.
