Freixenet Gran Cuvée is a carefully crafted blend of the classic Spanish grape varieties Parellada, Macabeo and Xarel-lo. These carefully selected grapes give the cava its characteristic freshness and complexity. After a suitable ageing period, the wine is bottled and sealed with a natural cork.

Tasting Note

A pale lemon-yellow colour in the glass. On the nose, aromas of blossom honey, citrus fruits and yeast-based pastries. Well-integrated effervescence, with flavours of honey, apples, pears and freshness on the palate. Very full-bodied and complex. A long-lasting and clean finish.

Acidity: 6.0 g/l

Serving temperature: 6–8 °C

Pairs superbly with antipasti, tapas, poultry, shellfish and grilled fish.
