The Cask Finish range from Arran is presented in a fresh, modern design that perfectly complements the delicious contents. Although the packaging is new, the outstanding flavour of the whisky remains unchanged and will win over connoisseurs all over the world. The Arran single malt is first matured for over eight years in traditional oak casks, which give it its basic structure and balanced flavours. This is followed by a special finish in carefully selected port casks from a small, renowned producer in Portugal.

These port casks, with their sweet and fruity character, are personally selected by the master to ensure that they create the perfect basis for a harmonious combination of wine and whisky flavours. This finish adds depth and complexity to the whisky, with the soft, fruity notes of the port wine blending seamlessly with the malty and woody tones of the whisky. The result is a fine drop that is a real highlight both visually and in terms of flavour.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber with deep copper red.

Nose: Fruity aromas of dark berries, ripe cherries and plums, accompanied by chocolate and fine oak spice.

Flavour: Full-bodied and sweet with notes of red fruits, honey and dark chocolate, paired with a hint of spice.

Finish: Langs and warming with lingering fruit sweetness and gentle oak notes.

The Arran Single Malt PORT CASK FINISH is ideal for pure enjoyment to fully savour its complex fruit and wood notes. It is also an excellent accompaniment to dark chocolate or mature cheese, which emphasise its depth and sweetness. For the more adventurous connoisseur, it can also be used in a sophisticated whisky cocktail such as a "New York Sour" to showcase its fruity port wine notes.
