KISS Detroit Rock Premium Dark Rum is a robust dark rum that combines the world of premium spirits with the unmistakable aesthetic of the legendary rock band KISS. The bottling was conceived as a tribute to the band and its close connection to American rock history, with the name ‘Detroit Rock’ directly referencing one of the best-known tracks from the KISS repertoire. It is made from sugar cane molasses, from which the rum is distilled and subsequently matured. The barrel ageing shapes its dark, robust style and lends it additional depth. KISS Detroit Rock Premium Dark Rum is particularly well suited to being enjoyed neat at room temperature or over a large ice cube, which really allows its robust character to shine through. For mixed drinks, it can be combined with cola or ginger beer, whilst it also provides an intense base for a classic rum Old Fashioned. Culinary pairings include BBQ dishes, grilled meat, roasted nuts or mature cheeses. As a dessert accompaniment, dark chocolate, brownies or caramelised desserts are recommended, as they complement its darker flavours.
